Three players reached double figures as Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets upset #4 Virginia.

The Yellow Jackets rolled to a 35-24 halftime lead, but #4 Virginia clawed their way back in the second half. Georgia Tech led by as many as 10 points in the second half, but a three pointer by Virginia's Marial Shayok tied the game at 49 with six minutes remaining. The Yellow Jackets went on an 11-0 run shortly after. At the 1:42 mark Virginia fianlly broke the drought after a made free throw by Anthony Gill. They found themselves trailing by 10 points again.

The Yellow Jackets used stingy defense and rebounding in this big win. They held their opponent to 22 percent from three point range and won the battle of the boards 41-29. Georgia Tech closed the game on a 19-15 run en route to their 68-64 victory.
