#7 Arizona erased a 10 point deficit in the final minutes with a 15-3 run looking to avoid the upset but UCLA continued to make big plays. UCLA SHOT 51% for the game and 51% from three while holding Arizona to 44% and just 35% from three point range. Bryce Alford led the way with 25 points, six assist and a three that proved to be the dagger. Ryan Anderson paced Arizona with a double double of 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Arizona battled back in the final minutes after trailing UCLA by 10. Clinging to a one point lead after an Isaac Hamilton made free throw, UCLA fouled Anderson the next possesion on a lay up attempt. Anderson made one tying the game at 84 but missed the second. UCLA called a timeout and drew up a play, with four seconds remaining Alford drained a three to put UCLA up 87-84.
